This weekend on KCB

LISA LANDIS~ Hi Kids Cookie Breakers.  I can’t believe it’s already the weekend!  KCB is excited to bring you another live show from the KCB studio 9-noon Saturday morning.

This weekend KCB features, “Love Songs KCB Style”.  Listen in for songs like “His Cheeseburger Lovesong”, “Enchanted Love”, “I Love My Lips”.  You get the idea!  We have PLENTY of silly love songs to celebrate Valentine’s Day coming up this Wednesday.

The 10 o’clock Theme Party features special guests (Kay Weaver Gibbs, Claire Gibbs, Heather Volpe &  some of her many talented kids) with details on the upcoming Rose and Shamrock festival coming to the Lancaster Convention Center February 16-18, 2018. roseandshamrock.org has all the details.  The Paloma Irish Arts Foundation is pleased to be hosting the festival. This premier event will host Celtic Bands, Celtic Living History and several competitions including an Irish Dance Competition.

At 11am YOU get to request your favorite song and maybe talk on the radio.

KCB Pop Up Party at Black Rock Retreat Summer Camp Open House

A visit from The Lancaster Co. Dairy Princess

KCB Happenings Saturday, January 13th Phredd, Farmshow & Chick-fil-A

LISA LANDIS~ Hi Kids Cookie Break friends.  Thanks for stopping by kidscookiebreak.com.  We have a fun-filled show coming to your radio this Saturday morning, January 13th.  I hope you can join us!

First up, Katlyn Jumper will be live at the new Chick-fil-A Fruitville Pike Shoppes at Belmont location between 9-noon at 1579 Fruitville Pike Lancaster, PA.  Stop by for FREE goodies, requests, door prizes, games and more.  Listen for live reports from Katlyn at Chick-fil-A at the Shoppes at Belmont in the 9 and 11am hours.

Second, it’s a PHREDD Ukelele One Man Band CD release party concert live on the Millen Room stage!  Over the past 2 weeks on Kids Cookie Break, 50 people have won their way into the live studio audience.  The concert will be held live on the radio between 10 & 11am.  We will also have chances for YOU to win the new Phredd Cd between 9 & noon.

And last but not least, listen for highlights from The PA Farm Show wrapping up this Saturday at 5pm.

KCB Pop Up Party this weekend at Roundtop Mountain Resort

LISA LANDIS~ Look for KCB in the main lodge at Roundtop Mountain Resort this Saturday, January  6, 2018 from 9-noon.  Roundtop Mountain Resort has scheduled a “Church Snow Day” for Saturday, January 6th.   WJTL will be on site with a Kids Cookie Break Pop Up Party starting at 9 am in the Main Lodge.   I will be there with the KCB Cookie Car,  KCB Goodies, fun games, song requests and more!  Check out the details below for special rate and tickets.

The Happy New Year edition of KCB

We are baking cookies this weekend on KCB!

LISA LANDIS~ It’s the annual “Cookie Baking” edition of KCB this Saturday!  Beth & Babs “the cookie ladies” will join us for the 10 o’clock theme party to share recipes, songs, stories, and chances to win!  After the show, I will be baking cookies with my family.  While I LOVE chocolate chip cookies and gingerbread cutouts, one of my favorite Christmas cookies is the “Raspberry Thumbprint Cookie with Almond Glaze.  Here is a link to the recipe!  landolakes.com
