 A Favorite Fall Family Event!

Bring the whole family and invite your friends for this beloved fall tradition! A fall festival with games, inflatables, activities, food, a “Tot Trot” for little ones and a timed one-mile fun run race make for a memorable morning. But the biggest question of the day is: WHO WILL BEAT THE PUMPKIN?

• 9:00 am – Check-in, Warm Ups, Course Walk Through
• 10:00 am – The Great Pumpkin Chase!
  • Tot Trot (100 yard dash fun run for kids under 5)
  • The Great Pumpkin Chase (one mile, marked and timed cross country run for ages Pre-K through 6th grade)
• Games, inflatables, and food (available for purchase) continue after the race until 12:00 pm

____Cost: $7.00 per runner
(children up to 6th grade running in either Tot Trot or Great Pumpkin Chase)Food available for purchase at the event. Games and other non-race activities are free!

Parents are permitted to run with younger children if they wish.

Kids will run a one-mile, pre-marked cross country course, along with “The Pumpkin” (a school administrator dressed up as the quintessential gourd). Cross Country team members and adults will be stationed along the course for direction and encouragement.

Medals are awarded to the top 10 boy and top 10 girl finishers. Go get that pumpkin!

LISA LANDIS~This weekend is a KCB On-Air Celebration with Lancaster Bible College. It’s Homecoming Weekend! It’s been two long years since LBC | Capital Seminary & Graduate School welcomed alumni, friends and families to campus, and they can’t wait to celebrate with you!

KCB will be on-site with the cookie car and lots of giveaways, and of course, Chick-fil-A Cookies (while supplies last). Stop by and say hello. Be sure to tune in to The Kids Cookie Break that morning too! I will be in the WJTL studio and have interviews so you can learn all about LBC. Katlyn will be live on location so stop by the KCB Tent and pick up your FREE goodies!

The big highlight of the day is the dedication of the brand new 700-seat Willis & Martha Herr Stadium, with many more events are on the schedule Friday evening for students and 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Saturday for alumni, students, parents and friends.

In addition to the stadium dedication at 1 p.m., events include alumni soccer and volleyball contents, the alumni brunch, games and bounce houses for kids, food trucks and other food options, as well as live music in the middle of campus performed by our current students! The Lancaster Bible men’s soccer team hosts Berkeley (N.J.) at 1:30 p.m., and the 2021 Homecoming Court will be announced at halftime.

LISA LANDIS~ Hi Kids Cookie Breakers. It’s Back to School time! We will celebrate Saturday at the 10 o’clock Theme Party with a full hour of Back to School songs. We will also mix in some Sunday School songs as our friend Kori Pennypacker of Bible2School joins us between 10 & 10:30am with details on the their new podcast You CAN Tell the Children. I was honored to be interviewed for their most recent episode talking about Bible memory songs and the Kids Cookie Break.

We will also have chances to win with KCB between 9-noon and you get to request your favorite song starting at 10:45am.

Cavod is hosting their annual open house Saturday, July 10th from 9am-2pm. There will be free food, fun, and entertainment for everyone. Enjoy games and prizes too. Plus parents and students will have a chance to tour the facility, meet instructors and sign up for 2021-2022 classes.
