This weekend (and next) is the Eastland Alpacas Fall Open House!

KCB is live on location at the Saturday, November 6th Open House 9-noon (the event is till 4pm).

• Come and see, feed or even lead the alpacas!
• Take a wagon ride around the farm!
• Watch an obstacle course demonstration with the alpacas presented by the Lancaster County 4-H Club: “Alpacas with an Agenda”.
• Listen to “Learn about the Alpacas”, a talk will be given so you too can learn the basics about these wonderful animals!
• “Get a Warm Hug from Nature” when you shop at the Farm Store. 100’s of Items to Choose from for Yourself or Holiday Gifts!
• Enjoy your day and don’t forget your camera!

Join Kenbrook Bible Camp for their 2021 Fall Family Fun Day with free fun and games for you and your family. It’s happening October 23rd from 10:00am-3:00pm at Kenbrook Bible Camp (190 Pine Meadow Road, Lebanon). Park at the gym and walk to the pavilion or get a ride on the hayride (making rounds about every 15 minutes).

Free, Fun Activities:

• Sling Shots
• Boating
• Pumpkin Painting
• S’mores
• You are the Hamster snow cone machine
• And more!

Free hot dog lunch is served 12:00-2:00pm and free popcorn and s’mores are available all day. Some additional candies and drinks are available for purchase for that sweet tooth!

The Great Pumpkin Chase 2021

 A Favorite Fall Family Event!

Bring the whole family and invite your friends for this beloved fall tradition! A fall festival with games, inflatables, activities, food, a “Tot Trot” for little ones and a timed one-mile fun run race make for a memorable morning. But the biggest question of the day is: WHO WILL BEAT THE PUMPKIN?

• 9:00 am – Check-in, Warm Ups, Course Walk Through
• 10:00 am – The Great Pumpkin Chase!
  • Tot Trot (100 yard dash fun run for kids under 5)
  • The Great Pumpkin Chase (one mile, marked and timed cross country run for ages Pre-K through 6th grade)
• Games, inflatables, and food (available for purchase) continue after the race until 12:00 pm

____Cost: $7.00 per runner
(children up to 6th grade running in either Tot Trot or Great Pumpkin Chase)Food available for purchase at the event. Games and other non-race activities are free!

Parents are permitted to run with younger children if they wish.

Kids will run a one-mile, pre-marked cross country course, along with “The Pumpkin” (a school administrator dressed up as the quintessential gourd). Cross Country team members and adults will be stationed along the course for direction and encouragement.

Medals are awarded to the top 10 boy and top 10 girl finishers. Go get that pumpkin!
