LISA LANDIS~ Good Morning Kids Cookie Breakers and welcome back to another episode of Kids Cookie Break! Today it’s a KCB On-Air Celebration with the Cavod New Holland Open house! Cavod is hosting their annual open house Saturday, July 10th from 9am-2pm. There will be free food, fun, and entertainment for everyone. Enjoy games and prizes too. Plus parents and students will have a chance to tour the facility, meet instructors and sign up for 2021-2022 classes.

KCB is on-site at Cavod Performing Arts in New Holland with the cookie car from 9am-12noon. We’ll have lots of giveaways and of course, Chick-fil-A Cookies (while supplies last). Stop by and say hello. Be sure to tune in to The Kids Cookie Break morning, as I will be will be in the WJTL studio and have interviews from Cavod and learn all about their upcoming plans. Katlyn & John live at Cavod this morning. You also get to request a song for the KCB Request Hour today at the Cavod New Holland Open House.

KCB is digging in the dirt as The 10 o’clock Theme party celebrates our gardens with a special conversation with Mindy of Ken’s Garden’s Intercourse, PA. Mindy is also the co-founder of Ease the Burden, partnering with local schools to teach kids community service. (because an act of kindness can change a life)! Mindy will fill us in on the Girvin’s Gardeners (Salisbury Elementary School) project with Ease the Burden.

A reminder that The Kids Cookie Break Theme Party can now be heard on Jump 105.3 Pittsburgh.  Jump 105.3 is an FM and online radio station for kids and their families.  Check out the station at Jump1053.com and yes, you can listen online too!  And you can ask Alexa to, “please enable Jump One Oh Five Three.” That gets the app installed for you.
